The agency ensures the mission of national authority security of information systems. As such it is responsible for proposing rules for the protection of state information systems and verify the implementation of measures adopted. In the field of cyber defence, it provides a monitor, detect, alert and reaction to computer attacks, especially on the networks of the State.

National Cyber and Information Security Agency

The National Cyber and Information Security Agency (NCISA) is the central body of state administration for cyber security, including the protection of classified information in the area of information and communication systems and cryptographic protection. Main areas of activity of NCISA are operate the Government CERT (GovCERT.CZ), cooperation with other Czech CERT® teams and CSIRTs, cooperation with international CERT® teams and CSIRTs, drafting of security standards for information system CII/IIS, support of education in the field of cyber security, research and development in the area of cyber security, protection of classified information in the field of information and communication systems, cryptographic protection and operates National PRS helpdesk – one of the services of European satellite system Galileo (NCPRS).

GOVCERT.LU

The computer emergency response team of the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (GOVCERT.LU), also known as the computer security incident response team (CSIRT). The service oversees the management of cyber-security incidents compromising Luxembourg, its citizens or its economy and is responsible for receiving, reviewing and responding to reports of such. GOVCERT.LU is the single point of contact dedicated to the treatment of all computer related incidents jeopardising the information systems of the government and defined critical infrastructure operators operating in Luxembourg, whether they are public or private.
