Trusted publication of the documents by the authority
To enable the automatic verification of the up-to-dateness of the documents published by the authority, the authority publishes the documents together with the qualified electronic seals of these documents on the same web page and with the same file name that is enriched by the string “.p7s”. The seal of the document is in the format CMS AdES according to Annex of the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1506. The information on publication of the seal of the particular document does not have to be included on the web address of the authority, even though the seal is published and accessible for the automatic processing.
The example of the document and its seal:
Trusted Publishing of Signature Policies
To facilitate the verification of approved signature policy validity and to make an automated “machine processable” decision whether a particular signature policy is approved by the Authority, there has been chosen a method of trusted publishing – A Trusted List of Signature Policies and Trust Certificates in the format of “integrity” electronic signature/seal (CMS AdES of UTF8 txt document). Such a method provides a minimal burden on users of a qualified electronic signature/seal.
