International recognition for National SK-CERT Unit
The National Unit SK-CERT has received on May 5th 2018 the second grade membership within the TI (Trusted Introducer Service) – status Accredited means full membership in the community of unites for cybersecurity incidents handling and international recognition. This event together with the Authority’s membership in CSIRT Network and the latest membership in international confederation of cybersecurity incident handling units FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security teams) became a milestone in building CSIRT unit and received recognition in the community of CSIRT units. The accreditation itself was preceded by a complex process which included multiple international audits from significant foreign CSIRT units. In the process of each audit, there was carried out a deep inspection of the National SK-CERT unit abilities and the technical, as well as the processional part of the readiness for effective cybersecurity incidents solving and the abilities to comfortably participate on activities of the CSIRT units community were thoroughly checked.
